With declining higher education enrollment nationwide and growing competition for those looking for career-building programs, the Los Rios Community College District needed a way to break through the noise and inspire students to consider all LRCCD’s four colleges had to offer.
In order to reach the people who would benefit most from sustainable career programs that uplift them, their families, and their communities, we first needed to capture their attention and inspire their imaginations.
As part of our locally-targeted enrollment campaign, we put on a drone show during the final game of the Sacramento’s Republic Football Club soccer season. The game was attended by over 11,000 fans, each getting to witness the marketing spectacle at the conclusion of the match.
The 12-minute show featured 200 drones moving into 6+ formations set to music. The content included messaging about available programs, illustrations of students and graduation caps, and an encouragement to visit Los Rios’ website for more information.
